The Coin-Operated Press Zine-Makers Community Hub relies on your donations to help us continue running our zine-making and creative arts space for free!

 

Coin-Operated Press is a grassroots organisation managed by Chloe Henderson and Katie McCann. We are just a small team of two, with some fabulous volunteers helping out. Running a free zine-making space is a challenge (albeit a very fun one!), and it is a constant struggle to secure funding to cover our costs. Any donation you are able to give is very much appreciated in helping us continue to make zines and teach zine-making to all!

You can also donate your unwanted craft supplies, old magazines, and more!

Here is a list of some specialist equipment we are currently on the lookout for:

• A small fridge.

• A large rug.

• A large broom and/or quality hoover (especially if it is a robot hoover) - we have a HUGE floor to clean!

• Chairs (especially if they are folding or stackable).

• Tables (especially if they are able to be folded).

• Free-standing shelving.

• Scissors.

• Stencils.

Here is a list of supplies that we use up all the time:

• Old magazines.

• Any materials that can be used in creating collages (paper, packaging, posters, etc).

• Paper in any form.

• Gluesticks.

• Washi tapes.

• Stickers.

• Pens, pencils, markers, crayons, and any other drawing supplies.

• Unopened tea or coffee!

• You can also donate zines and books to our cosy reading corner!

If you have something that is not on these lists but you think we might be able to make good use of it, please send us an email at coinoperatedpress@gmail.com or pop into the space from 12:00-17:30 on Thursday-Saturday.
